A School Where Your Child Loves Learning
Ages 10-16 | Sitges/Sant Pere de Ribes | Real-world Learning
Imagine your child bouncing out of bed in the morning, eager to go to school, not dreading it. They feel passionate about what they are doing, have a say in their learning, and truly love learning for the first time.
This is what learning feels like at Learnlife. And what school should be like.
We believe every child should love learning, feel supported and valued, and grow into a confident, capable individual with the skills to thrive in life. That’s why we do things differently, and why so many parents choose us.
When we asked over 500 families why they chose Learnlife, here's what they said:
1. A Love of Learning - We spark curiosity and make learning fun, meaningful and hands-on. Children don’t just “get through” the day. They take charge of their learning and look forward to it.
2. A Sense of Belonging - Every child is welcomed, known, and celebrated for who they are. Our community is built on trust, kindness, and genuine connection.
3. Growing Confidence - Through personal mentoring and supportive relationships, your child will discover their strengths, try new things, and build real confidence.
4. Passion and Purpose - We help your child discover what excites them, connect learning to real life, and find their “why.” When learning has purpose, motivation soars.
5. Skills for Life - Your child will build resilience, critical thinking, and creativity, helping them develop the mindset and skills to thrive no matter what the future holds.

The Village Hub is a dynamic space for hands-on learning and creativity.
Located in Valentí Village, just 10 minutes from Sitges, Sant Pere de Ribes and Vilanova, it features a science lab, carpentry and maker space, kitchen studio, visual arts space and a large rooftop terrace with sports courts. Learners also have access to nature and sport at a park just a few minutes walk from the Hub.
Yes. Our curriculum, called the Learnlife Competency Model, is recognised as a leading global education innovation. It’s built on years of research and best practices from pioneering educators around the world.
It aligns with the local Ministry of Education while integrating the critical skills learners need for a thriving future. These skills are embedded in our five key learning domains and delivered through what we call our Building Blocks:
Learning to Be
Learning to Think
Learning to Learn
Learning to Relate
Learning to Act
Our learning experiences promote agency, are rooted in real-world relevance, and draw from a variety of methodologies.
We prioritise deep learning and foundational skill development in everything we do.
Through our competency model, learners build strong academic foundations across literacy, numeracy, science, and other key domains, integrated with real-world application.
Our interdisciplinary approach connects learning across subjects and fosters skills such as critical thinking, collaboration and creativity.
Regular reflection, feedback, and authentic assessment help learners understand where they are and what’s next, while building confidence and independence.
The learners gradually grow their understanding of the wider world within this framework.
We focus on authentic, competency-based assessment rather than traditional exams or grades.
Progress is captured throughout the year using the Learning Vitae, a dynamic tool that offers a holistic view of each learner’s growth. It provides clear insights into where learners are in their journey and includes tangible evidence of their achievements.
In addition, secondary learners share and reflect on their learning through:
Yes! However, we think of pathways that are much broader than this.
Our Pathways to Possibilities programme helps learners find their 'why' and achieve their dreams - any country, university, employment or career.
Our graduates are now studying at top universities, freelancing, or launching their own businesses. More importantly, they're following their passions and purpose.

If learners need to pass an exam to get to their chosen pathway, we can adapt their schedule and help them prepare for this. Several learners have done this with no problem. In fact, their exam results are well above national benchmarks!
With personal mentorship and portfolio development, our graduates leave ready to take their next step. Confident, capable, and future-ready.
Learners have a pathways discussion to explore their options and make a plan to reach their goals. Their mentors support them throughout this process.
Our programmes are delivered in English. We offer Spanish and Catalan to develop language skills.
We celebrate diversity and multilingualism and provide many opportunities to develop language skills and an interest in local culture.
Our Learning Guides are multilingual and speak English, Spanish and Catalan.
Yes. Our team includes qualified educators as well as individuals with rich professional experience from a variety of sectors.
Beyond credentials, we prioritise cultural fit, shared values, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with learners. This helps us create a vibrant, nurturing learning culture.
Every child has their own unique strengths and we’re here to celebrate and support those.
When additional support is needed (whether diagnosed or identified by our team), we collaborate closely with families to co-create an individualised learning plan. These plans evolve with the learner and focus on their goals, strengths and needs.
Support is led by our Learning Support Lead and may include:
Learning Guides and Assistants
Personalised plans
Coordination with external specialists (e.g. psychologists, speech therapists)
Areas of support include:
Language acquisition for non-native speakers
Executive functioning, literacy, and numeracy
Social-emotional growth and wellbeing
Pathways for gifted learners
To ensure balance, we limit the number of high-support learners per Hub.
Our community is globally diverse, with families from 32 nationalities across five continents. The most common nationalities include Spain (25%), the USA (19%), the UK (9%), and Israel/Germany (6%).
