"He always wants to go to school in the morning.”

Our children spend so much time at school. Shouldn't it be a place they enjoy going to and feel like they belong?

Finding a school where her son, Jasper, would enjoy his time and that focuses on his strengths and growth, both academically and personally, led Kasia to join Learnlife Village Hub.

You want more for your child than good marks

You did well at school. So did plenty of parents you know. But something about the way your child is learning right now doesn’t sit right.

Maybe they’ve stopped talking about their day. Maybe the spark has gone. Maybe they’re fine on paper, but you can tell they’re not thriving.

You want them to feel known. To grow in confidence. To actually enjoy learning again. And you still want them ready for university and the real world.

You can have both. That’s the whole point of Learnlife Village Hub.

A real school. Just built around your child, not the timetable.

We're a school that does things differently. Not a school that skips the fundamentals.

Learnlife Village Hub is for children aged 10-16, accredited by NEASC and has a weekly schedule. What’s different is how the learning happens.

Core academics: Maths, science, languages and more.

Your child covers the core subjects, but through real projects that show them why it matters. Like creating a budget to learn maths. It sticks because it means something.

knowing-who-you-are

A guide, not just a teacher: Known by name and supported every day.

Every child has a mentor who meets them one-to-one. They set personal goals, work through what’s hard, and make sure no child slips through the cracks.

ready-for-the-future

Confidence and wellbeing: The part most schools skip.

Emotional wellbeing is built into the week, not bolted on. Children learn to understand themselves, work as part of a team, and stand up and present without fear.

What parents notice first.

The change most families talk about isn’t a grade. It’s that their child wants to go to school and is truly excited about learning.

Hear from parents and learners

The Learnlife model works. Here's the evidence.

Learners graduate with the American High School diploma.

The diploma matters. What surrounds it matters more.

They leave with a portfolio of real work, a Learning Vitae built over years, and a clear sense of who they are and where they're headed. They leave ready for the life beyond school, with the courage to pursue it.

Learnlife graduates go to university, start a business or begin their careers. All of them leave knowing who they are and where they're headed.

But is it academic enough?

It’s the first thing most parents ask. So let’s be clear.

The Village Hub is accredited by NEASC, the international body that also accredits established American and international schools. Your child builds strong foundations in numeracy, literacy and languages. The difference is that they learn it through real projects, so they can actually use it.

“A lot of parents worry: great, the wellbeing is covered, but what about the academics? Yes, the academics are covered. And every project has a direct transfer to real life, which the traditional system doesn’t have.” - Kasia, Village Hub parent

The real question isn’t whether academics are covered. It’s whether academics alone prepare your child for the life ahead of them.

Everything you're wondering

Yes. Village Hub learners can earn the American High School Diploma through our NEASC accreditation.

Every child works with a pathways mentor to plan their next step, whether that’s university in Spain, the UK, the US or beyond, a gap year, or starting a business.

We prepare them for external exams like APs and Selectividad when their chosen path needs them.

No. There’s a structured day, a clear schedule, and real progression milestones.

As Kasia, a Village Hub parent, puts it: “It’s not complete freestyle where everyone does whatever they want. It’s very intentionally guided. There’s freedom within the structure that lets children take responsibility for their learning.”

It’s mainstream education done differently, and it’s for all children. Some families come because traditional school wasn’t working.

Just as many come from successful, happy school backgrounds and simply want something better. One Village Hub parent prefers to call it “human-centric” rather than alternative. We’d agree.

The learners gradually grow their understanding of the wider world within this framework.

The hub opened in 2024, but the model behind it isn’t new.

Learnlife has run schools since 2019 across two other Barcelona schools, trained 576+ educators in 57+ schools worldwide, and been recognised by Forbes, the OECD and HundrED three years running.

The Village Hub brings that proven approach to a close-knit community near Sitges.

English is the main language of the school, so international families feel at home from day one.

Spanish and Catalan are part of the week too, and our guides are multilingual. Local and international children learn side by side, which is one of the best things about this community.

Your child can graduate with the American High School Diploma.

Local Spanish accreditation for the Village Hub is in progress, with approval expected in 2027. In the meantime, there’s a clear, supported route to the Spanish ESO certificate for families who need it.

Fees are €9,300–€9,700 per year, with monthly instalments, a 5% discount for paying annually and a 5% sibling discount.

That’s often lower than other international schools in the area, for a far more personal experience.

Joining is simpler than you think

Give your child a school they'll love.

Come and feel the difference for yourself. Places for September are limited, and we intentionally take a small number of children per group. We'd love to welcome your family.
